By Air
Fly into Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport (ZAG), about 17 km from the city centre — a 20–30 minute drive.
By Car
Zagreb is well-connected by highway. Driving distances from nearby cities: Trieste ~230 km, Budapest ~345 km, Vienna ~370 km, Split ~410 km.
Getting Around
Taxi & Ride-sharing
Uber and Bolt both operate in Zagreb. An airport taxi transfer costs around 25–30 EUR.
Trams
Zagreb has an excellent tram network. Tickets cost ~0.53 EUR for 30 minutes and can be bought at kiosks or via the "Moj ZET" app.
Where to Stay
We recommend staying near the city centre - Zagreb is easily explored on foot. Apartments via Airbnb or Booking.com are also great options.
